Anna Garforth is a London based artist taking the art world by storm using her diverse skills to uniquely capture the aesthetics of nature and transform the world around us. Never one to be defined by an individual medium. Garforth takes a multifarious approach to her art practice creating an eclectic body of work utilizing a diverse array of skills such as illustration, design and craft.


GrowNYC is a hands-on non-profit which improves New York City’s quality of life through environmental programs that transform communities block by block and empower all New Yorkers to secure a clean and healthy environment for future generations.  GrowNYC was originally created in 1970 as the Council on the Environment of New York City.

highline  FEATURED PARK | The High Line | NYC

The High Line is a public park built on an historic freight rail line elevated above the streets on Manhattan’s West Side. It is owned by the City of New York, and maintained and operated by Friends of the High Line. Founded in 1999 by community residents, Friends of the High Line fought for the High Line’s preservation and transformation at a time when the historic structure was under the threat of demolition.

Ron Finley plants vegetable gardens in South Central LA — in abandoned lots, traffic medians, along the curbs. Why? For fun, for defiance, for beauty and to offer some alternative to fast food in a community where “the drive-thrus are killing more people than the drive-bys.”

Alice Waters, founder of Chez Panisse Restaurant and Café in Berkeley, California, has championed local, organic farms for over four decades. After helping to change the American food landscape, Alice introduced her ideas into the public schools with the Edible Schoolyard, a program that involves students in all aspects of growing, cooking, and sharing food at the table.

Roxy Paine was born in 1966 in New York and studied at both the College of Santa Fe in New Mexico and the Pratt Institute in New York. Since 1990, his work has been internationally exhibited and is included in major collections including Hirshhorn Museum and Sculpture Garden, D.C.; Museum of Modern Art, New York, NY; San Francisco MOMA, CA; and the Whitney Museum of American Art, NY.
